KNOW YOUR M77
Honest M77 care and proof notes
Firm full-grain leather. A practical military boot. The M77 rewards a good fit, steady wear and straightforward care—not shortcuts or unrealistic expectations.

Honest break-in guidance
Thick full-grain leather feels firm at first. With the right fit and steady wear, it softens and shapes to your foot.
Read care guidance: Honest break-in guidance
Start with short indoor or low-mileage sessions and proper boot socks. If you’re between sizes, consult the cm size guide on the product page before choosing your fit.
Let damp boots dry at room temperature between wears. Break-in is gradual: there’s no fixed number of days and no promise of pain-free wear.
Water-repellent leather and care
Full-grain leather naturally resists water. Periodic conditioning keeps it ready for use; deep water and prolonged soaking can let moisture in.
Water-repellent leather. Not a sealed waterproof membrane boot.

Clean off mud and salt, then dry slowly at room temperature. Apply a suitable leather grease, wax or conditioner periodically, paying attention to seams and flex areas.
Avoid radiators, campfires, hair dryers and direct high heat. Deep water, prolonged soaking, neglected leather or poor drying may let moisture in and shorten service life.
PU sole care and storage
Direct-injected PU helps reduce separation risk compared with many glued soles, but PU still ages. Store dry and ventilated.
Read care guidance: PU sole care and storage
Let boots dry before storage. Avoid damp bags, damp basements and long-term storage while wet. Keep them away from high heat and harsh chemicals.
Wear them periodically rather than leaving them unused for years. Sensible use and storage help care for the sole, but wearing boots does not prevent all PU degradation.
Clean. Dry naturally. Condition. Store ventilated.

BEFORE YOU LACE UP
M77 questions buyers ask most
Straight answers on fit, wet weather, winter use and the materials behind your M77.
Do M77 boots need breaking in?
Yes. They are thick full-grain leather boots, so they can feel firm at first. Start with shorter wear sessions, use proper boot socks, and increase wear gradually. Correct sizing matters more than forcing a stiff boot to work.
Are M77 boots waterproof?
They are water-repellent leather boots, not sealed waterproof membrane boots. With proper leather care and drying, they can handle wet everyday use well. They are not meant for prolonged standing in deep water.
How should I care for the leather?
Brush off dirt and salt, let the boots dry naturally at room temperature, and apply a suitable leather grease, wax, or conditioner when the leather starts to look dry or after repeated wet use. Avoid direct heat.
Can I use them in winter?
Yes, they can work well for cold streets and rough winter use, but the base M77 is not an insulated winter boot. For colder conditions, use thicker socks or M77 inner socks and measure your foot while wearing the socks you plan to use.
What should I know about the PU sole?
The direct-injected PU sole helps reduce some risks associated with glued soles, but PU still ages and benefits from proper storage. Store boots dry and ventilated, avoid damp sealed storage, and wear them periodically rather than leaving them unused for years. Wearing boots does not prevent all PU degradation.
